The End of the Rainbow

Well, I finally made it back home safe and sound. It was a long trip picking up our new motorhome from Dennis Dillon RV in Boise, Idaho but it was also fun and exciting. I hadn’t counted on the snow storm that made coming back home through Reno/Tahoe on I-80 impossible, nor had I counted on the snow storm that hit South East Idaho on the very day I picked up the motorhome. But by taking it slow and by also taking the longer route home through Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and then back up the the SF Bay Area I was able to arrive safely.
The rig was quite the mess when I got back home after driving through snow and slush but she cleaned up pretty well. Our Daughter and her Fiancé came over on Sunday for our Oscar party and to look at the new motorhome. When we went outside, we were greeted with this great rainbow gleaming over our motorhome. It must be blessed now. Either that, or in lieu of the proverbial pot of gold, we now have a new depreciating asset. Oh well, we only live once and none of us are getting any younger, so we can’t wait to hit the road again.
See you on the road later!
